Health Access
Health Access provides therapy
services aimed at improving or maintaining maximum physical
functioning for people aged 60 and over who are in need of
physical therapies and need assistance to maintain maximum
physical functioning and independence. Clients are referred
by their GP.
Health Access offers rehabilitation and therapy services to
older people living in the Enfield, Payneham and Campbelltown
local government areas.
Health Access developed from the original concept of the Aldersgate
Day Centre.
Health Access provides services for:

people regaining lapsed skills after a medical problem
-
people adjusting to a reduction in mobility
-
people who have lost contact with the community, who would like
more social involvement but don't know where to begin
-
people who feel isolated through physical disability and immobility
-
people who are experiencing pain or discomfort from muscular
skeletal complications
-
people in need of foot care
-
people who wish to learn how to stay fit.
-
people who are in need of orthotic devices to correct stance
and gait.
Services include
Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Hydrotherapy and Social support.
Health Access encourages older people to move towards
health, independence and activity in their community.
Clients
Health Access is available
to people over 60 years living in the Enfield, Payneham and
Campbelltown local government areas.
Priority is given to people who are financially disadvantaged.
