Employed Carers
This initiative is
part of the Federal Government's plan to increase and maintain
participation in the work force. The broad target group,
are primary carers of the frail aged and young people
with disabilities. The specific target group for this Project
are the carers of frail older Australians (65 years or over,
or 50
and over if Indigenous) including carers of people with dementia
and challenging behaviours, who are in employment, have definite
(substantiated) plans to return to work and respite is therefore
needed, or are in related study.
